Why do you volunteer for STEAM for All?
Having been able to benefit from the classes and events hosted by organizations within STEAM for All (or Math for Service) when I was younger, I want to give back to the community in the same way. Since joining the AGMT board my sophomore year, I have learned and grown as a communicator, leader, and teacher. The opportunities I was given as a volunteer in AGMT has allowed me to become a more empathetic and committed person. It brings me so much joy to know that what I’m doing will inspire younger girls to pursue their own path in math and beyond.
